We are partnering with a leading company in the services sector, with more than 20,000 employees and a daily impact on over 500,000 people across thousands of sites. The organization is undergoing a major digital transformation, building a new Data Center of Excellence in Barcelona to standardize processes, improve data quality and ensure innovation and knowledge remain in-house.
As a Global Data Owner Leader, you will drive the company’s global data governance and quality strategy. Your role will be pivotal to ensure that data becomes a trusted and strategic asset across all business units and countries.
Lead the global strategy for data governance and quality (master data, operational and transactional).
Coordinate and guide a network of Global and Local Data Owners.
Define and maintain corporate policies, standards, and best practices for data management.
Establish and track data quality KPIs.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data regulations.
Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Architecture teams on business rules and system integration.
Promote data literacy and cultural change around data management across the organization.
Support key strategic initiatives (CRM deployment, Salesforce/HANA migration, corporate reporting, AI projects).
5–8 years’ experience in data management, governance, or data quality roles.
Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science or similar.
Proven experience leading transversal teams or networks in international contexts.
Strong knowledge of MDM (Master Data Management) processes and tools.
Advanced English (C1+).
Availability to travel internationally.
Experience with Azure, Power BI, Databricks, LogicApps is a plus
