Our client, a world leading telecommunications company is looking for an English speaking Service Desk Agent who is willing to work in one of the best places to grow technically, technoligacally and professionally.
The main task is providing support for customers via telephone, email and online tickets in a managed services environment.
· Support, maintain, and improve customer services
· Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and rectification of customer faults.
· Resolve or escalate problems and service requests according to established procedures
· Work proactively to ensure prompt resolution of support cases and the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction
· Following training, demonstrate clear skills with employed technologies.
· Raise, update, and close calls on service desk call management system
· Escalate call to other 2nd 3rd Line support/external maintenance companies
The candidate must be able to demonstrate good skills in the following areas:
· Microsoft Windows and Office
· Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
· Ability to follow procedures and mindful of attention to detail
· Able to make progress with minimal supervision
· Ability to work consistently in a dynamic and sometimes high pressure environment
· Native or Fluent English
· Linux experience
· Networking experience
· Microsoft Windows Server technologies
· Active directory
· Exposure to IBM server, Sun server, and NetApp product ranges
· Second language such as Japanese, French, Spanish or Italian
· Experience of working in a service desk environment
· Good PC/Peripheral hardware skills
· Degree in relevant technical discipline or relevant industry experience.
